What makes this shot so interesting for me is the fact that I can’t wrap my head around the lighting. The dark thundery clouds in the background, the dark treeline and then those few beams of light on the grass and the very bright part of the sky.
Love it, absolutely love it. It grabs my attention and makes me look at the whole image.
Interesting scale here. At first glance, I was sure that this building was much smaller, but the inclusion of the man corrected me. I’m torn between whether the man strengthens or weakens the shot. In either case, I like it.
