Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai province, Northern Thailand.
At the top of Doi Suthep there's a lookout spot with this great view. We rented a motorcycle for the day and it was great! Steph and I really enjoyed having the freedom to move around without a hired sawngthaew, and without a set schedule. We highly recommend it.
Just be aware of one thing: The rental place took my passport as collateral and when we tried to return the motorcycle, they had already closed! Result: no passport, and we had to miss our night train to Ayutthaya.
