About

RoamıngPıxels is the photoblog of Phil Vergés.
(Many thanks to Richard at pixyBlog for making this possible!)

Toast I have been fascinated with photography for about 40 years, although it remains a passion rather than a career. My first “serious” camera was a Minolta X-700, then I came a Canon EOS 7e after the Minolta and all its lenses was stolen. My first foray into the digital domain was done with a Canon PhowerShot G2 – not really the most recent gear, but in my opinion that is secondary to the person behind the camera. Hopefully, some of the pictures I took yeags ago with my low-tech Palm Zire 71 can attest to that. I like the grainy look, however, the lack of resolution is an issue.

Next came a used Canon PowerShot G6, and also a Canon Eos XTi. Most recently, I bought a used iPhone which I love to play with.

The best camera is the one that you have with you!
