About

RoamıngPıxels is the photoblog of Phil Vergés.
(Many thanks to Richard at pixyBlog for making this possible!)

Toast I have been fascinated with photography for about 26 years, although it remains a passion rather than a career. My first "serious" camera was a Minolta X-700, and I only upgraded to a Canon EOS 7e after it got stolen. For the last 7 years, most of my shooting was done with a Canon PhowerShot G2 - not really the most recent gear, but in my opinion, that is secondary to the person behind the camera. Hopefully, some of the pictures I take with my Palm Zire 71 can attest to that. I like the low-fi look; however, here I'm only posting high-res images.

More recently I bought a used Canon PowerShot G6, and I recently treated myself to a Canon Eos XTi, as well.

While I'm not able to update this blog daily, it is my goal to update it frequently, so keep on stopping by, and don't be shy about commenting!
