Boy on ferry

We met this boy on the ferry across the Yangon river.  He is wearing the traditional sunscreen (thanaka) made of tree bark that doubles as makeup for the women. 

Fascinated by us, he just smiled and waited for me to take his picture. Burma.

  1. I used to have to do visa runs from Thailand into Burma and was always greeted by a number of face painted Burmese children at the border. Quite different to the Thais.
    Nice shot. Just a small question… the oval swirl to the side of boys left ear; looks like something happened in the post-processing, right?
